do we go from this
to this

all within a weeks time????? He is trying to grow up way too fast. Thankfully he hasn't started to crawl yet, but he does get up on his knees and throw himself forward pretty well. He doesn't even really like to just sit and play much. He either turns to climb up on me or lay on his belly to get in the crawling position. I better get prepared.

Church Christmas Program

The Annual Christmas Program.......this year Joshua was a donkey and Nicholas was, once again, a cow. He wasn't very happy about that, but he cheered up once he saw all his friends were cows too. Nicholas actually sang some of the songs, whereas Joshua, on the other hand, just played with his donkey ears and pretended like he wasn't there. He is a character for sure. I even sat up there for a little bit with Zachary until he got fussy. The program is always a lot of fun to watch and this year was no different. The kids are very precious. Love them all.

Getting ready to go on stage.

Don't they all look excited to be there?

Christmas Card 2010

Merry Christmas Everyone! Now that cards have been sent I wanted to share the Christmas card I had made from Shutterfly. I think it turned out pretty good and was very happy only to pay shipping for them. Any and all savings are appreciated this time of the year. I was not able to get a shot of all three of them for this card, but their solo shots are pretty cute. Hope you all have a very blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Oh Christmas Tree.....

Christmas Tree a hunting we went last weekend. It was actually still fairly warm that evening in comparison to this week, brrrrr. It was also the perfect time to go since most people were in their homes watching the football game. We went to a new place down the road this year, smaller, but they had some beautiful trees. I found one I really wanted, but it was way too big for our little house. One day maybe. The tree we did find, however, is just as beautiful. The boys enjoyed running around and playing hide and seek for a little bit. Good times. I love the smell of fresh Christmas trees.
No nap sleepy boy, but we did awaken him.

Zachary was enthralled with the trees.
Nicholas wanted to be in the picture too.

Our Christmas Tree

Nicholas didn't want to smile so instead he did crazy faces. Not sure where he gets this :-)

Joshua did his best at holding Zachary. He sure does love "touching" him.

Just Joshua's size. He wanted to take this one home.

Birthday Party

Last weekend Zachary and I headed to Ella Harding's first birthday party. Amanda, of course, was the hostess with the mostess. We had a wonderful brunch and Zachary enjoyed playing with Ian and Ella Harding.

The birthday girl getting ready to dig in.

Ian and Zachary. Zachary had just started to sit up on his own for brief periods of time.

Ella Harding had to investigate who was laying on her playmat.
He wasn't quite sure about her poking at him, but she is cute so he went with it :-)

Picture Day

Here are a few shots I took of the boys the day I went to have their pictures taken for Zachary's 6 month, Joshua's 3 year and a few Christmas shots.

Love the pockets on this outfit.

This picture is just funny with their white undershirts and jeans. So styling. Burt was trying to pose them all "cool", but you see how that went.

Christmas Card Giveaway

Okay, since three of my friends have now posted regarding this great deal, I am finally getting to writing a blog post about it too. Shutterfly is giving away 50 free Christmas cards to any blogger who writes a post about their services and which new designs for Christmas cards you prefer. This is such a great deal in my opinion, especially since I have used Shutterfly before to order pictures and to make photo books and I love sending out Christmas cards. We have a rather large list of people we send cards to, so receiving 50 of those free is very appealing. Don't we all love free stuff!!!!

Their site is very easy to navigate and their products always look great. The photo books I have created from them are wonderful. I am in the process of creating a new one from our trip to Disney World if I can just par down the photos that is :-) That's the hardest part. If you are looking for other gifts to give they can do that too. From calendars to mouse pads, you name it. And their new collection of Christmas cards are fantastic. They have so many to choose from, which can make it difficult for some, including me, but I think I might be able to do it. They have card stock, glossy, flat or open card, no pictures or multiple pictures. Whatever your heart desires I am sure you can find it. Some of my favorites are:
Starlight Snowflakes Christmas Card
Classic Modern Wreath Christmas Card,
Elegant Cross Religious Christmas Card,
Modern Chocolate Wreath Christmas Card

There are so many more great choices. I have my work cut out for me. Hope you enjoy browsing their collection.

So, if you are interested in receiving 50 free Christmas Cards from Shutterfly click here. Happy searching and I look forward to showing you our final product once I make a decision and find the perfect picture or pictures to add to it.

Gotta love these boys

This was a conversation had by my boys and Burt one day while they were out on one of their adventures. I believe they were getting ready to come home when this occurred.

Joshua- "Let's go to target."

Daddy- "We don't need anything at target."

Nicholas- "Daddy, let's just go and Joshua and me will pick up what we want."

Guess what happened next.....they went to Target of course and brought something back.

The balloons made it home from our long journey from Disney World and Zachary was very happy to be out of his car seat and in his bed.

Disney World- Day 4

Hope you all aren't tired of hearing about our trip :-) Not to worry, this is the last day and then I will move on to fall fun.

We ended our Disney World fun by heading to Animal Kingdom. Our first stop was the Safari Tour. Everyone enjoyed this trip. It was fun watching Nicholas look at the pictures above us to see what he should be on the look out for. Joshua couldn't wait to see the elephants and to play with Zachary.

Lathering up with sunscreen. The kids decided to switch off sitting with each other.

Not sure why Nicholas is so mad.
Joshua loves to touch his brother.

After the tour the adults rode a roller coaster. It made my stomach turn a little bit, but was lots of fun. It had a surprise built in of going backwards for a little bit. Fun times. We then headed to Dino Land for a little bit before going to see the Nemo Show. We were excited to have Joshua go to Dino Land since he is in love with Dinosaurs. We had to wake him up though since he ended up falling asleep on the stroll over there. All the fun caught up to him early this day. The boys went and played while Zachary ate and then we all rode a ride together. It was then off to the show. I wish I had pictures of that, but you can't get good ones in there. Joshua was mesmerized the entire time. We had great seats up front too which was a lot of fun for us all. Definitely better than being up top. Joshua would have gotten on the stage I think if we let him.

Joshua was very excited that he was able to control the dinosaur.

Zachary was holding on for dear life.

Sophie and Zachary. Isn't she precious.
He's pretty cute too.

We then went back to ride the roller coaster again and ate ice cream. Once we finished that the boys went on the water ride. Joshua started to cry because he couldn't go. It was so pitiful. He wanted to go with Daddy and big brother. So, Burt took him to see if he could make the height requirement and apparently he did because he didn't bring him back to me. So, Brittny and I took Sophie and Zachary to the bridge to see if we could catch the boys coming down the ride. We missed them the first time, but caught them the second go around. Joshua didn't want to go again so Burt brought him out to me. He was a little wet, not scared, just didn't want to get wet again I guess.

I love how excited Christopher was.

After that we headed back to Dino World until the park closed at 5. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We picked up a few souveniers and ended our journey. While waiting for our bus the kids ran around and played with their toys. We then decided to pay for a taxi to get us home. It was much more pleasant than fighting with all of our stuff to get on a bus with tons of people. We made it back much sooner too. We ate a great dinner, played one more round of putt-putt, bathed the kids and got them to bed at a decent hour. We were then able to sit down and relax and talk a bit ourselves before packing up. It was a nice way to end our vacation. We had so much fun with the Hemphill's and look forward to the next time we can vacation together.

Princesses and Dinosaurs- who says they can't live in harmony.
