Birds eye view

Here are a few random pictures from the boys viewpoint. Some of them are pretty good actually, while others are good attempts or just strange.

Grandma and Grandpa

We had a visit from Grandma and Grandpa for four days the end of February. This was their first meeting with Zachary. He took to them right off the bat, but didn't have much of a chance to play with them since Nicholas and Joshua monopolized most of their time. I did get them to back off every once in awhile though. We played at the house, went to the zoo, played more, ate at Saza's and played more. It was a fun filled few days. The boys loved having them visit with us and we look forward to seeing them again in August.
Our little monkey watching the monkeys.

Feeding the giraffes.

Cheryl and Joshua taking pics of each other. We didn't get the pictures of Cheryl with Zachary off their camera so this is all I have. Sorry Cheryl.

Enjoying the swings. This was Zachary's first time I believe.

Playing "Guess Who" with Grandpa. Nicholas would have played this all day every day if he had the chance. A kids meal toy that was actually useful.

Grandpa and Zachary.
We could not get all the boys to sit together for a picture, but they did give hugs and kisses goodbye which was huge. Maybe next time we will get one. I need to try earlier when they are not expecting it. I always forget until the end though. Oh well. We had a great time and maded some great memories.

Right on track

Well, as per Nicholas and Joshua, Zachary's first tooth broke through at 9 months while we were in Trinidad. The second one started to come in too the last day which made for an unpleasant take off and landing on the way home, but not too bad thankfully. He also had lots of college gals to flirt with to distract him some. They didn't mind playing along. Fun times. More on our vacation later....

Imagination

I love how Nicholas and Joshua are old enough now to create stories and act them out together. Before it was Nicholas telling Joshua what the story was and him following, but now they can play off of each other. It is so fun to hear what they come up with and what they use for their stories. Anything from their plastic animals to couch cushions. I love it and love that their relationship is growing stronger as brothers. Yes, they still have "those" moments that aren't the best, but I choose to focus on the great ones right now and embrace their creativity to the fullest. I will try to write down and take pictures of one of their stories next time so I can fully remember the craziness and how they make me laugh and smile. For now this will have to do.
