Zachary David

Wow! Time sure does fly when you are having fun, heehee. I figured it was about time I posted about our newest addition, Zachary David. I can't believe he is already four weeks old. Well, I guess I can since most of those four weeks are kind of a blur, fun, but a blur none-the-less. Between trying to get some sleep when I can and figuring out how to take care of the two older ones it has definitely been an adjustment. Thankfully my mom has been here to help, but she will be leaving next week. And on top of that Joshua is already taking the middle child thing to a whole new level. He has been throwing tantrums, crying at the drop of a hat for good and bad things and is clingy too. I know a lot of it is due to the new baby, but if anyone has any advice on how to curb this I will gladly accept it. It could also just be because he is two and a half. Who knows. But I digress. This was suppose to be more about Zachary right????

Zachary was born on Friday, June 11th at 10:11am and weighed 6 pounds 11 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long. I think his favorite number might be 11, what do you think? The labor was long, but the delivery was the easiest by far. Only two pushes and he was out, no help needed from the doctor. Praise God! He looks just like his brothers of course and is a very sweet baby boy. He is having some difficulty burping and has a lot of gas that bothers his stomach, but other than that he is pretty laid back all things considering. If we can just get on some kind of schedule that would be even better. I know it is going to be harder this time around though since we have to be places with Nicholas and Joshua, but I am going to try my best to keep my sanity in check.

Right now Zachary is crying because I had to wake him up to feed him before taking the boys to school, took a little nap and then woke up thinking it is feeding time again most likely, but nope, he still has another half hour to go at least. Poor little fella. If Nicholas was here he would sing to him and say it is ok, don't cry. He is going to be a great big brother. He loves him to pieces and thinks everything he does, from crying to pooping to his cute little fingers and toes are the best. Joshua wants to hold him a lot and thinks when he touches him it tickles. Joshua does love him, he just would like him to not be around when he needs something right then and there.

Okay, so on to the pictures you have all been wanting to see. Enjoy looking at our newest cute little bundle of joy.

I'm dying to see this sweet boy in person! We were gone for all of June, and I keep thinking that I need to make my way over there to meet him! I'll try to get in touch with you this week!

I love that last shot of him! He's such a cutie (no surprise there). Can't wait to meet him in person. I'm traveling the next couple of weeks but maybe when things settle down I can come by and visit (or maybe kidnap you for a girls' night out for a couple of hours!).
