I've been tagged!

I have been tagged by my friend Stacy C. to list 6 random facts about myself. I know someone else tagged me before, but I never did it then so here goes....

1. I love eating popcorn and ice cream for dinner, but with kids now I can't do that until after they are asleep. It is still just as good then however.

2. Most of you know this but here goes. I was born in Florida, then moved to Wyoming where my Dad is from, then to California, then to Alabama for my first job, but also where my Mom is from, met my husband Burt, who is from Trinidad and now we have two beautiful boys.

3. I have a collection of souveneir (sp?) spoons. It was started by my Dad. When he was in the Navy he would bring me one back from all the places he went and my brother would receive a mug. I continued on with the tradition, although not as much these days. My family and friends have also helped with the collection.

4. In college, my friends and I had to scrounge up all the money we had (like $30) to give to the corrupt Mexican police officers so that they wouldn't throw us in jail for apparently running a stop sign. Fun times.

5. I was on the tennis team and swim team in high school.

6. I learned how to drive on a stick shift by my Mom and only last year bought a car, or should I say a minivan, that is automatic.

That's it!! So now it's my turn to tag 6 other people to do the 6 Random Facts! Most of you have done this already sometime or another so sorry if you are tagged again. I won't hold it against you if you don't do this since it took me forever to do it myself. I tag Lisa S, Lisa W, Brittny H, Lauren W, Amanda G, Britney F

TAG YOU'RE IT!

Trinidad and Tobago

Okay, so here are the long awaited pictures from our trip to Trinidad and Tobago. There is way too much to say about our ten days away so I will just try to give captions on the pictures to give you a little glimpse into our time. We had a wonderful time with the family and enjoyed spending time with our neice Arianna once we made it to Trinidad (although they did lose our luggage on the way back, but thankfully not the one with the carseat in it or we would have been stuck in Atlanta. That was a huge blessing indeed.). Many memories were made this trip and we look forward to the next time we are all able to get together again.

Arianna and Joshua lounging on the couch.

Ajah and Joshua
Auntie Bonnie and Nicholas picking mangos. She was his best friend the entire trip. They crashed cars, had pillow fights and she inspired his new favorite phrase "what is that".
Enjoying a meal on the balcony.
Family time in the pool at the house in Tobago we stayed at. Below is that house. It was a five bedroom place. Room enough for us each to have our own room.

What beautiful eyes this little angel has. So captivating.

Our little "bag" boy. What a great helper he was.
The only family picture with everyone we took this go around. We were leaving for the airport to head back to the states.

On the move

Well, it is official. Joshua is now on his hands and knees to crawl instead of the army crawl. He started on Sunday and is getting better at it everyday. When he needs to get somewhere really fast, like to chase after Nicholas when he takes a toy away, he resorts to the army crawl, but he is definitely crawling. Fun times. Only a month earlier than Nicholas I think, but it seems a ton earlier than that to me. Is it normal to think that way???? I guess it is also do to the fact that he is already pulling up on things and trying to walk along the couch. That is almost three months earlier than Nicholas. Crazy kid. He wants to get somewhere that's for sure.
